Water Towers in Dubai as it used to be


  • Dubai's Water Towers (provided by Ludwig Hejze): Water Towers were erected in the 1960s as part of Dubai's new Domestic Fresh Water System. Each Tower supported a Steel Panelled Tank holding freshwater pumped from Al Awir.
